HOW LIBRAN GLASS WAS FORMED

Libran Stained Glass of Cheshire was established in January 1985, by the first partner Paul Bateman, his experience in the art of stained glass was achieved by serving a traditional, seven year apprenticeship following his schooling at Sale Grammar School (Manchester) Soon after starting the business, demand for our product was such that it became obvious that a new recruit was needed, and it came in the form of Paul's wife Tracey. Tracey already had a wealth of designing experience, and coupled with her love and enthusiasm for her work, a partner to the business was an obvious step. The rest so they say is history.

OUR AIM

We are devoted to promoting excellence and engendering of craftsmanship in every project we undertake, whether it be the smallest of repairs to a window in situation, or the largest of commercial contracts. We are proud of the quality of our work and take great pleasure in it, something that unfortunately is sadly lacking in most of today's society.

WHAT WE DO

Libran Stained Glass specializes in the design and manufacture of the most beautifully exquisite traditional leaded lights and stained glass windows, and the careful restoration of old panels in any condition. The latter resulting in a complete transformation of decrepit panels, which begin to bow and buckle, and in some cases fall apart. To a panel that looks once again as it did when it was originally installed. The unique versatility of our stained glass work means that wherever it is used, a beautifully enhanced transformation will take place, and will be admired by all for many years to come.
